Counseling for Careers is an organized, structured effort that connects students to a career goal and a high school and postsecondary program of study - all necessary for postsecondary success. SREB has developed a framework of seven components for a school- and district-wide comprehensive approach to Counseling for Careers. The strategies are based on SREB's research base of best practices that are positively correlated with raising students' academic achievement. Participants will engage in interactive activities around the seven essential components of a Counseling for careers program.
